Originally from the small town of Athens, TN, Jonathan Moore had always had an eye for the arts, wishing to expand his ideas and visions into any medium possible. His passion for photography in particular took off when he was gifted a digital camera; paired with his love for hiking, landscape photography was an obvious route.
A 28 year-old, self-taught outdoor photographer from Frankfurt, Germany, Daniel Ernst often finds himself traveling to remote places around the world to capture the beauty of nature. Having begun as a portrait photographer, it was not until he started bringing his subjects out on hiking trips that he truly realized the beauty that the world has to offer. At that point, he focused more heavily on landscapes, being sure to include people for a variety of reasons.
Based out of Southern California, Blake Simpson is a young landscape photographer who has already accomplished so much. In an effort to better understand and preserve the environment we all love so much, Blake studied Civil and Environmental Engineering at UCLA. He’s even worked with brands such as Red Bull, Visit Mammoth, Vice Magazine, and MeringCarson! Blake is definitely a photographer you should keep your eye on.
After having seen the beautiful Brookover Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming - and talking to the photographer himself, David Brookover - my interest in opening my own photography gallery hit an all-time high. I decided to contact David once again to speak with him about the realities of running a photography gallery. This is what he had to say…
